about

Une poignée de titres meurtriers, « Get Away (From Me Today) » « Did You Bring Your Mask (Max) ?

A new LP, carefully thought out, full of potential hits! A massive album, superior to the previous one as a whole. More rich and balanced, concise and adventurous. The first had made an impression, this one will surprise even more! Burned rock, BelpheGorZ's trademark, rubs shoulders with the silkiest pop, experimentation not being left out. A handful of deadly tracks, « Get Away (From Me Today) » « Did You Bring Your Mask (Max) ? », cut out for the stage, but no less than four hit songs, "She's Dancing" "Sleeping On The Bus" "Vintage Girl Is Dead" and a masterful re-reading of "September" in three voices, vocals/counter-vocals around an unstoppable melody… undoubtedly the top of the album! "Kill The Pain" sounds the death knell of a bygone era. It is a question here of an observation - all in darkness - covering the news and its excesses but which gives a glimpse of hope and deliverance. If the texts point out the sensitive subjects of our societies, the music carries everything in its path. « Welcome to Darkland »... on a purple velvet carpet.

BelpheGorZ Marseille, France
